Life's blessings . . .

I (Sheila) am the "author" of this blog. In November of 2011, for reasons I will never understand until I reach Heaven, God called my best friend home to Heaven. Even at that dark time, I knew that God was in control and He had a plan for my life even if I couldn't see it!

I'm thankful that God is in the "restoration" business! To this day, I dearly love my Rickey who God called home way too soon, but am awed and amazed daily that He allowed a new best friend into my life! Rick entered when I least expected him to, and when I didn't think I was "looking for love"!

We had a whirlwind courtship and are now happily married. Life still provides its share of "curves", but we rest in the knowledge that God is always in control and His ways are bigger than ours. It's always fun to see God's hand and provision and to know that it is He, not us writing our story!
